There’s an urban legend about a taxi cab that doesn’t take you where you want to go, but where you need to go. One night, you step into this cab.
The driver appears to be a normal guy.
So, you start talking to him about the area and his route.
Soon, you notice that he’s not going where you want to go.
He just keeps driving and driving.
You keep talking and talking.
Eventually, he stops the car and looks at you with a strange look on his face.
You ask him what he’s doing.
He tells you he’s lost and asks you if you want to get out.
You figure what the hell, it’s not like you’ve been in there for an hour.
So, you get out.
He walks around the back of the car and quickly jumps in the front seat and takes off.
After a few moments, he stops the car and gets out again and starts walking away.
You ask him where he was going and he tells you he’s going to the airport.
So, you hop in the backseat and he drives you to the airport.
When you get out, he tells you that he didn’t know that you wanted to go there.
He had been headed to the address of a former lover, but thought that it was his house.
He looks at you and says,”I would never have taken you to my lover.”
To which you reply, “That doesn’t make a difference.”
I was in a rush one day, so I didn’t get a chance to fill my prescription before I went to work.
I knew that I needed to be at the doctor’s office within an hour of my departure, so I rushed off to the store.
I was picking up my prescription when I was approached by the pharmacist.
He told me that the prescription had been called in, but the insurance company had denied it.
He gave me a freebie so that I could go fill it on the way to work.
I grabbed it and rushed back to the car.
I filled my prescription and hit the road.
About an hour into my trip, I realized that I hadn’t filled my water bottle.
I turned the car around and headed back to the store.
The pharmacist said that the bottle had been called in and that they had given me a freebie to fill it.
I grabbed it, got back in the car, and headed back to the pharmacy.
I filled the bottle and then headed off to work.
As I was driving, I glanced over at the bottle and noticed that it had the wrong expiration date on it.
The bottle was dated 2004.
I realized that I had a problem.
How would I get to work?
My water bottle was empty.
I pulled over and grabbed another bottle and filled it with water.
I headed back on the road.
I pulled off the highway a bit and went to a fast food restaurant to fill my bottle with water.
As I was filling the bottle, I heard a beeping noise.
I looked at my clock and noticed that it was almost 4:00.
I asked the cashier about the beeping and he said that he didn’t know what it was.
I filled the bottle and hit the road.
I realized that the beeping was coming from my car.
I stopped the car and searched for the source of the beeping.
I noticed that my car was going very slowly.
I looked under the car and noticed that my radiator was leaking.
I pulled over again, and this time it didn’t make any noise.
There’s an urban legend about a taxi cab that doesn’t take you where you want to go, but where you need to go. One night, you step into this cab.
The cab drives off down the highway, as if it were a normal ride.
The cab takes you for a long, lonely drive.
You sit there, watching as the road curves and bends, passing by miles of empty, desolate landscape.
Finally, the cab pulls to a stop.
You get out and walk toward the cab.
The driver gets out, and he’s a naked woman.
She says something to you in a hushed voice, like she’s trying to hide something from you.
You want to go back, but you don’t know what it is you want.
You walk over to the woman, and she grabs your face.
She kisses you, then grabs you by the ears and starts to make you listen to her.
She tells you to go to a dark alleyway and kneel down.
She then gives you a key and tells you to go into a building and take a room.
You go inside the building.
You walk into a small, damp room with a shower.
You walk in and start to undress.
You turn on the water and start to bathe.
You look up to see the naked woman standing above you, looking down at you.
She says, with a deep, powerful voice, in a language you don’t understand,’I do this because I am lonely.
