In the middle of a desert, you find a well-kept map.
In the middle of a desert, you find a well-kept map.
You can’t explain how it got there, but it’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen.”
At the mention of the map, Jamie’s entire body tensed.
He stepped back, shielding his eyes from the sun.
His face went pale, and the skin around his mouth turned blue.
I couldn’t help but stare, waiting for his body to snap and start convulsing.
“No.”
Jamie’s voice was low and cold.
“No.
I’m not going anywhere.
No way, no how.”
“Jamie…” I grabbed his arm.
“You have to go, or we’ll never find this man.
We have to tell him.”
“Tell him what?”
he said, his eyes darting between me and the ground.
“What is it?”
I turned to the man.
“It’s all right, Jamie.
He’ll go with you.
It’s only for a little while.”
“No.”
He shot out of my grip and turned to face the man.
“No.
No, I won’t go.
I’m not going anywhere.”
He started to pace.
“There’s nowhere that’s better than here.
I can’t leave, I won’t!
I’m not going to let you do this.”
The man walked slowly over to the boy, taking a step closer to him.
“And if you won’t leave, then I will.
Then I will walk away and leave you here.
If I ever see you again, you better hope I’m looking the other way.
Because if I do see you, I will take you to the graveyard and make you dig your own grave.
I’m going to kill you, and you’re going to beg me to stop.
And I won’t.
And I will do it until you beg me to stop.
I’m going to make you suffer for what you did.
For what you tried to do.
Because you don’t deserve to live.
You aren’t a man.
You’re nothing more than a child.
You can’t take responsibility for your actions, Jamie.
You can’t be trusted.
So I will make you pay for what you have done.
I will make you pay for everything you have done.
And when I am done, you will be nothing more than a memory to me.
And I will be happy.
You will be nothing more than an innocent, poor child that died.
You will be a haunting pain in the ass, and I will let you be.
I’ll let you go.
But you will be powerless to stop me.
I’ll let you go, and you will never see me again.
I’ll let you go.
You will never see me again.
And you will be nothing more than a memory to me.
And I will be happy.
You will be nothing more than an innocent, poor child that died.
You will be a haunting pain in the ass, and I will let you be.
I’ll let you go.
And you will never see me again.
I’ll let you go, and you will never see me again.
You find a well-kept map in the middle of a vast desert. No other markings or landmarks are visible. You only find a note written in foreign language, along with a key to the map. You are given a cryptic clue to follow. You walk over sand dunes, crawling through tunnels, and fighting your way through rats and creatures to reach the end of the map. The map is a blueprint to where the Ark is buried.
What is the Ark? What will you find?
If you have the key, you can open the box. But you are not given the key until you complete a quest.
You are given a choice. You can open the box and get the reward right away or you can solve a puzzle before you find the key.
The Ark contains a large amount of items. Some are treasure items, some are trinkets, and some are of great importance.
Each item will be a puzzle to solve. There will be keyhole puzzles, locked doors, riddles, and more.
I am making the game with an idea in mind. I want this game to be well made. It is my dream to make a game that people want to play for years.
I also want this game to be fun. If this game is fun to play, the players will keep coming back for more.
